So you might be thinking, how the heck can I travel without a passport to Puerto Rico. Well for the US citizens, Puerto Rico is a US territory, so as long as you have a direct flight to Puerto Rico or a flight that does not consist of layovers in another country you can travel here without a passport. So make sure when you book your flight does not have a layover in another country or you book a direct flight to travel without a US passport.
Cruise to the Bahamas
I did my first cruise to the Bahamas just last year and all I needed to travel there was a US ID, although I admit I did bring a passport as a back up. Cruise life though is a different kind of vacation with mostly being on the water so I suggest you take a longer trip if possible to explore more of the islands. This was one of my favorite places to travel without a passport.
