There is so much to do and see in New Orleans. Louisiana is filled with a lot of history and culture, with voodoo, haunted hotels and mansions, plantations, and food. I spent a lot of my time in Baton Rouge, which I may have to do another “adventures” series on. On the other hand, I wanted to show you some things to do in New Orleans. It can definitely get overwhelming with all of the people in the area and luckily for me I had a local show me around. If you are looking for a way to spend one day in New Orleans, well you have come to the right place.

New Orleans is an amazing place to visit and I recommend all my friends and family to visit this wonderful place. I honestly wish I visited sooner, especially when I was younger. I visited Las Vegas a lot growing up since I was raised on the West Coast of the US. I used to think Vegas was a great place to drink, have a fun night out gambling, and more, that is until I went to New Orleans.

We got these beautiful yard longs at Tropical Isle. Hand grenades are drinks that are similar to a yard long that you can get from Las Vegas, but these drinks are quite dangerous. They’re beautiful in color, sweet, and contain more alcohol than you think. Even the company tropical isle, who invented the drink, can’t tell you what’s in their secret recipe.
This drink will be sure to knock you off your feet. They do not skimp on the alcohol or the size of these drinks. They are very beautiful and dangerously sweet. We got ours at Port of Call which is massive in size.
