Adventures in Gulf Shores, AL
For my birthday last year, I was able to experience something that I would have never to have thought to call paradise. Someone like me, who has primarily experienced the west coast and Northeast, it was a breathtaking experience to visit Flora-bama. For those of you who don’t know, Flora-bama is a small sweet spot between Florida and Alabama near Gulf Shores, Alabama.
These beaches are beautiful, warm, calm and surprisingly not packed! Additionally, if you are from California, like me, we are mostly used to fairly crowded beaches, loud crashing waves and the water is freezing cold! My brother, his in-laws and I rented out a beautiful beach house on the sand right by the water. It was relaxing while breathtaking, to say the least!
